   Target Engineering's Electrical Power, Instrumentation & Controls Division has acquired valuable experience in working with major Oil & Gas Clients, EPC Contractors and specialized Vendors on the design & engineering, coordination, execution and installation of high voltage & low voltage electrical equipment (400 KV - 415V), instrumentation and controls works for various projects including : Desalination Stations, Aluminium Smelters, Substations, Load Centres, Electrical Control Rooms, Generator Houses, Power Stations, Gas Turbine Stations, Overhead Lines, High Power Cable Duct Systems, Fuel Buildings, Chemical Chambers, and Ancillary Buildings.

Major projects executed include the Buhasa Power Interconnection Upgrade for GASCO in Buhasa, Ras Abu Fontas Phase A1 - Desalination / Sea Water Intake - Electrical and Instrumentation Works for QEWC/ FISIA ITALIPIAMTI, the Emirates Aluminium (EMAL) Smelter - Above Ground Electrical and Instrumentation Works for SNC Lavlin, the QATALUM Electrical Distribution Works for SNC Lavalin and several 11-400 kV substations in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain. Current ongoing projects inlcude the Borouge 3 Utilities and Offsites Project at Ruwais, New Custody Transfer Metering Skid for Shuweihat -3, Central Development Zone Permanent power connection from TDIC buildings to ADDC power network at Sir Baniyas Island.

The Division has its own Design & Engineering team at Abu Dhabi and does inhouse calibration traceable to national and international standards.
